The college experience at 杏吧直播间 State begins with Racer Nation Orientation. It鈥檚 filled with fun and important activities, programs and opportunities to prepare you for a fantastic experience at 杏吧直播间 State!

Spring Orientation is a program for all new degree-seeking students entering 杏吧直播间 State University during the spring semester. Whether you are a first time freshman, a transfer student, parent or guest; you'll find things to interest and excite you about 杏吧直播间 State University.

The program is a combination of both educational and transitional sessions to prepare students for life at 杏吧直播间 State. You will make connections with faculty, staff and fellow Racers. We hope that through this orientation, you will obtain the information to begin the process and to feel like you are a part of the Racer Family! Remember, orientation is mandatory for all incoming new freshmen and new transfer students.

Racer Nation Orientation - 3-Part Series

Day of Orientation 鈥� On the date of your orientation session, you will participate in sessions to help you learn more about financial aid and scholarships, student organizations and important resources available at 杏吧直播间 State University. You will also get to meet your academic areas and orientation leaders who will lead you through the day.
Advising and Course Registration 鈥� Our advisors are excited to help you during your orientation day to assist you through the class registration process! You will attend an advising session with your academic college where you鈥檒l be walked through the registration process in preparation for class scheduling between Nov. 3鈥�6, 2026. Racer Life 鈥� Come and reconnect with your orientation leaders and other new Racers in January. With a chance to win prizes, have fun and receive important information as you start your new Racer life!

11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.	Money Matters - Lovett Auditorium Presentation by Student Financial Services Your Racer Home - Lovett Auditorium The best college memories are made on campus at 杏吧直播间 State. Learn more about housing/residence life, dining and other services available to assist your student to make 杏吧直播间 State their new home away from home. Racer Resources - Lovett Auditorium Hear from representatives from around campus that will help you have a smooth transition to 杏吧直播间 State University.
12:30 to 1:15 p.m.	Lunch - Winslow Dining Hall Come dine with us and experience our largest on-campus dining facility!
1:30 to 2:30 p.m.	Academic Advising 鈥� Various Locations Across Campus All students will be walked to their academic locations by Racer Nation Orientation staff and meet with academic advisors to learn about scheduling for Spring 2027 classes.
2 to 2:30 p.m.	Check Out - Curris Center, 1st Floor Students will check out with Orientation staff and meet family/guests at Curris Center, 1st Floor. Academic assistance available.
2 to 4:00 p.m.	Student Financial Services Help Desk - Curris Center, 1st Floor Need help understanding financial aid terms, deadlines or other money-related questions? Stop by the Help Desk.
2:30 to 2:45 p.m.	Optional Campus Tours - Curris Center, 1st Floor Tour 1 starts at 2:30 p.m. Tour 2 starts at 2:45 p.m.

2 to 2:30 p.m.	Check Out - Curris Center, 1st Floor Students will check out with Orientation staff and meet family/guests at Curris Center, 1st Floor. Academic assistance available.
