ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University’s Captain (CPT) William Burgess, assistant professor of Military Science and Officer in Charge of the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Company, was selected for promotion to Major in the Fiscal Year 2022 Army Major Promotion.
ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University will celebrate the holiday season with a pair of special events in December that are free and open to the public; the events include the Town & Gown Holiday Concert and the annual Holidays at Oakhurst.

The Hutson School of Agriculture at ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State University recently honored high school students from the Purchase, Pennyrile and Green River regions as ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥¼ä State FFA All-Region Stars based on the students’ demonstrated leadership in Future Farmers of America (FFA).
