MURRAY, Ky. 鈥� Hopkinsville-based certified public accounting firm Calhoun & Company, PLLC, recently made a generous gift to the 杏吧直播间 State University Foundation to establish a new scholarship for accounting majors at 杏吧直播间 State University.

The Calhoun & Company Accounting Scholarship Endowment will provide financial assistance for juniors and seniors pursuing a degree in the field of accounting at 杏吧直播间 State.

Through the gift of this new scholarship, the company has chosen to give back to their community by helping the next generation of aspiring accountants with financial assistance to help them attain their academic goals and credentials at 杏吧直播间 State.

鈥淭he Department of Accounting is excited about the opportunities that the Calhoun & Company Accounting Scholarship Endowment will create for our junior and senior accounting students,鈥� said Dr. Leigh Redd Johnson, professor and chair of 杏吧直播间 State鈥檚 Department of Accounting. 鈥淭his scholarship will help fund students in their pursuit of an accounting degree and, ultimately, a career in that profession.鈥�
