Snapshot of 2025-26
During the 2025-26 academic year, ORCA coordinated more than 443 on-campus student presentations, supported over 40 students in attending professional conferences, funded more than 10 faculty-mentored student research projects, and presented 30 undergraduate research posters from across Kentucky to State Legislators.
These accomplishments were made possible by financial support from the Provost's Office, oversight from the ORCA Advisory Board, and the dedication of 126 faculty members who mentored our students鈥攊ncluding Dr. Brittany Wood, who was named University Distinguished Mentor of the Year.
